I love you Sudan (so far, ha!)

Heyo,

Ben and I officially made it to Yei, Sudan (flew into a dirt airstrip to get here) and we are, in a word, excited.  The Harvesters compound is just outside the city, and these kids are priceless.  I'm kinda in love already, haha! (Granted, in about two weeks I'm sure my opinion will change a good bit.)

Since arriving here our leaders have been asking us "what are you going to do while you are here?"  And we keep responding, "well, anything you want."  We came with a team from Kansas City and they are laying tile down in a 3000 square foot house.  So this is what we are doing for the next couple of weeks, intermingled with hanging out with the kids (all 150 of them) and playing football (soccer). But we have also let our leadership (Pastor Pushani) know that we want to be involved some with discipling the older guys.  There are 6 guys in secondary school (high school) and we have the opportunity to be involved in their lives over the next two months.  This is really a big desire for both me and Ben.

That is all for now.  My body is beat because I laid tile all day.  I'm going to hit the showers.

p.s.  Pics will come soon, as well as a more thorough post on prayer needs and what we will do over the next 2 months.
